Serbia Open is the ATP tennis tournament, located in Serbia, Belgrade, on the re-built tennis courts “Milan Gale Muskatirovic”, near to the delta, where the river Sava goes to the biggest European river Danube.
This tournament is historical, because Serbia will be the host for the first time to the world’s best tennis players in their road to the ATP tron.
Novak Djokovic and other Serbian players brought a new passion to the world of tennis. Serbian tennis in the last two years becomes recognizable not just because its success but also because of the emotions, leaving the heart on the court, humor, charm. Our tennis players, led by Novak, proudly represented these basic qualities of Serbia. Our country became the place where passion and love for tennis are coming from. We invite the world to come to Belgrade and Serbia and share that passion on its home ground. So far we just played tennis, now we’re taking in creating history. We are ready!
Serbia Open will be held from 2nd until 10th of May 2009.
Total number of matches is 74, and the visitors will have opportunity to enjoying the games two times a day – from 12 noon and from 8 p.m. |
